ADULT AMATEUR HOCKEY 2009-10
The season is here! The adult hockey program will feature non-checking pick-up and team hockey, as well as co-ed instructional hockey sessions.

Adult pick-up and team hockey sessions are scheduled in the evenings for one hour, usually following youth hockey, on an average of two or three times per week, depending on the Gorillas game and the Civic Center’s ice schedules. This is non-checking, recreational play. Sportsmanship is expected while rough play is not tolerated. Beginners are encouraged to attend the instructional hockey sessions before attending adult pick-up and team hockey. The cost is $10 per session.
Co-ed instructional hockey sessions are guided by an experienced player/instructor. The one hour skate sessions include “learn to skate and play” instruction for beginners and “skills & drills” for advancing players to sharpen and advance their skills. Loaner gear is available for beginners.
Regular adult and instructional hockey is open to men and women of age 18 and older. The cost is $10 per session.
All skaters are required to register by signing a liability waiver form prior to going on the ice for the first time this season.
Equipment: A helmet is required for all on-ice activities. Additional equipment, below, is highly recommended for optimal safety (loaner gear denoted as * is available on a limited basis):
